Addiction at the Bank Five-9 amphitheater at State Fair for the Indy car races!
Thank you to all that joined us at the Bank Five-9 Amphitheater Saturday Aug 31st! I started the day with Paula at George Webb’s, followed by an early morning setup and sound check. We played from 11-1 and race fans trickled in and out throughout to see what all the commotion was about! We saw a few regulars and met some new fans too. Afterwards, Chris, Irina, Paula and I roamed the fairgrounds for a while and grabbed a bite to eat. Before heading out, Paula and I also met Randy from askROI who was there with the Ed Carpenter Racing team. Randy’s a Rhoads influenced guitarist himself that’s seen a ton of bands out in Vegas and LA, and had some very kind things to say about our gig and was a total pleasure to talk with. Special thanks to TEC – The Entertainment Company for setting up the gig, stage mgr Dale and the whole Clearwing crew for running an awesome stage, sound and light show, and all our fans, friends and families that came out!
